The MEDRVA Foundation funds the operation of the MEDRVA Low Vision Center at Stony Point – Central Virginia’s premier low-vision rehabilitation facility providing care to underserved community members.
Provides vision screening to Pre-K children and provides an eye exam and prescription glasses in a mobile vision unit at no cost to the child or family.

Medical Research
The MEDRVA Foundation partners with UVA School of Medicine, VCU School of Medicine, and Eastern Virginia Medical School to fund medical researchers and students in their quest to expand medical knowledge.
The MEDRVA Foundation Science Fair annually recognizes aspiring middle and high school student researchers in Central Virginia with six scholarship awards.
Partner with organizations such as Sportable and Virginia Voice to provide individuals with a visual impairment complimentary membership and live audio description opportunities throughout the region.
