You will receive two bills from MEDRVA Healthcare – one for use of the facility and one for anesthesia services.  You will also receive a separate bill from your surgeon.

If you have medical insurance, your out-of-pocket expenses will depend on:

  • Your procedure
  • Your specific insurance plan’s benefits
  • The current amount of your deductible co-pays and co-insurance

We will work with you to estimate the out-of-pocket expense of your procedure.  This will be an estimate based on the procedure your surgeon anticipates performing.  Your doctor’s decisions may result in a lower or higher actual cost depending on such variables as the supplies used and time you spend in the operating room.

To give an idea of expenses, the list below provides the average charges of the twenty most performed surgeries at MEDRVA Surgery Centers.
