Dr. Theodore Schuman is an assistant professor at VCU Medical Center.


Dr. Schuman's practice focuses on general ENT with special interests in otolaryngic allergy, rhinology, and salivary gland disease, includng sialendoscopy. Dr. Schuman primarily sees patients at the MCV office in Colonial Heights/Prince George, where he is the Medical Director. Dr. Schuman also oversees the department's otolaryngic allergy program at all VCU ENT clinics. Dr. Schuman has an academic interest in outcomes research.


Dr. Schuman received his doctorate from Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University. He completed his residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and most recently finished a Fellowship at the University of North Carolina in Rhinology, Allergy, and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery. Dr. Schuman is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.


Dr. Schuman is originally from Maine. His wife is a Richmond native, and they have three children. His hobbies include spending time with family, travel, music, and outdoor activities.
