Diane Cox MD, FACS

Experience

As a Breast Surgeon, Dr. Cox specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant breast disease, performs breast cancer operations, and coordinates all aspects of breast cancer care for her patients.

Practice

Dr. Cox's practice is dedicated to Breast Surgery. She has certifications in Breast Ultrasound and Minimally Invasive Breast Biopsy. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is a member of multiple professional societies including the American Society of Breast Surgeons. She has served on many hospital committees and has held leadership positions, including Chief of Surgery.

Education

Dr. Cox graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in Music and Biology from the Texas Christian University, and then went on to receive her Medical Degree from the University of Texas, San Antonio, School of Medicine. She completed her residency in General Surgery at VCU.
