Practice

Dr. Dhillon has been in practice for 12 years with Colonial Orthopaedics. He is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and has additional qualifications with CAQ (certificate of added qualification) in hand surgery and in Sports Medicine. Apart from his interest in general orthopaedics and fracture care, he specializes in treatment of hand, elbow, and shoulder along with sports medicine and advanced arthroscopic surgery for the wrist, elbow, shoulder and knee. He also performs wrist, elbow, shoulder, and knee joint partial and total replacements. Additionally, he specializes in microsurgery of the hand, nerve, and tendon injuries, and nerve compression syndromes and complex reconstruction of upper extremity problems.

Education

Dr. Dhillon completed his undergraduate studies at Government College in Punjab, India, followed by his Master’s studies, medical school, and residency at Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi. He then completed a research fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, and his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, New Jersey, where he served as administrative chief resident. Dr. Dhillon continued his orthopaedic training with a fellowship in hand and upper extremities at NYU Medical Center.
